“We watched film as a team. We're past that right now. Same way I don't go too much ahead of myself, the same way I don't look too far back. At the same point, I can't let that slide like it's nothing. Today, I'm focused on this game. We're going to use the fuel from the last game to really play hard in this game and not let happen the rest of the season.”— Duane Rankin（The Arizona Republic (azcentral)）於 X 轉述說話對象：太陽背景：太陽在開幕戰以 41 分之差輸給拓荒者，接著在主場開幕戰迎戰勇士。

“Oh man, it felt great. The game didn't go the way we wanted it to go, but we've got to flush it and move on. Learn from this game. Got to watch film. I got to do a better job of protecting the basket, being there for my teammates. So I'm going to watch minutes and watch the whole game overall and really learn from it. It's just a process for me, like a step by step. I just got to make sure I get better every game. I just got to make sure I don't make the same mistake twice.”— Duane Rankin（The Arizona Republic (azcentral)）於 X 轉述背景：Khaman Maluach 在開幕戰先發，球隊以 83 比 124 輸給拓荒者；他出賽 16 分 52 秒，投 2 中 1 拿 2 分、6 籃板。
